There is so much unique fruit in Ecuador - many of it I have never seen before. We went to a farmer's market outside of Quito and bought a bunch of fruit that we didn't recognize. After doing some research, I figured out what the fruit was and how to eat it. Some of it was really delicious, some of it took a bit of work.
