Gnomon was over the moon to welcome TAIKO Studios on May 5th, 2018, for The Making of “One Small Step.” The newly formed animation studio unveiled their short film during their first-ever public showing to an audience of animators, digital artists, and animation enthusiasts at the Gnomon campus, and followed it up with an in-depth presentation on how the film came to be. • The team shared TAIKO’s origin story, talked through the inspiration and development of “One Small Step,” showed how they created the look of the animation, revealed the production pipeline from concept through to final, and discussed how they scored the short. • Thank you to TAIKO Studios!
