Bilitis The Shadows

Here is my instrumental version of the theme from the 1977 film Bilitis . The film was loosely based on a poem cycle by Pierre Louÿs entitled The Songs of Bilitis set in ancient Greece, although the film is set in modern Europe. The theme was composed by Francis Lai. This version is based on the arrangement by The Shadows which appeared on their 1990 album Reflection • I played this using my Fender Stratocaster (Bridge Pickup) with the Zoom G2.1Nu (EFTP Patch A9). Recording was via USB to my home PC with Cubase.
