I needed a reggae bass machine that is easy to set up and sounds natural… but, with that deep thick sub that the club kids love. The best way, I figured, was to build something myself. Below is what I have come up with after a couple of hours playing around. • This instrument rack has two other instrument racks buried inside it. I used a preset from Ableton’s Operator called Hip Hop Sub Bass and the Palm Bass sampler instrument rack fr om Ableton’s Bass and Guitar Pack. I found that the Palm bass makes that reggae roots bass sound that I have been searching for! • Below you will find a list of plugs you will need for the download / preset to work. If you have the Live 9 Suite it shouldn’t be a problem because they all come with it. You may need to go and download the Guitar Bass pack, but it won’t cost a suite owner anything. • If you don’t have those things don’t worry. Just substitute. You will need a bass guitar, preferably with a palm presets. You will need a sub. The amp is just some spice on the taco, not necessary, but tasty. • Required to use the preset: • Live’s Operator • Live’s Amp Audio Effect • Live’s Guitar and Bass Pack • ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ • Joshua Casper Online: • http://www.joshuacasper.com •   / djjoshuacasper   •   / joshuacasper   •   / joshuacasper
