King Rama I (Phra Phutthayotfa Chulalok Maharaj), the first king of the Chakri dynasty, founded Bangkok on the east bank of the Chao Phraya as the new capital of Thailand 239 years ago. König Rama I (Phra Phutthayotfa Chulalok Maharaj), der erste König der Chakri-Dynastie, gründete vor 239 Jahren Bangkok am Ostufer des Chao Phraya als neue Hauptstadt Thailands. Es ist eine sehr angenehme Gegend, wo man wunderbar spazieren und entdecken kann. Am besten man lässt sich zwischendurch einfach treiben, ohne wie ein Orientierungsläufer mit der Karte in der Hand stur ein Ziel zu verfolgen. Klar, ich hatte einen Start- und einen Endpunkt. Auch habe ich Vorkentnisse und weiss wo Norden und Osten ist. Der Sonnenstand kann da helfen. So war ich flexibler beim Entdecken und Filmen. Eigentlich mach ich das immer so.
