The latest human study into NMN has looked into its effect on hypertension, but maybe more importantly its effect on inhibiting the NAD killer CD38. • I hope you enjoy my content and find it interesting or informative, if so, please consider supporting the channel by using one of the affiliate links below: • Buy me a Kofi: https://ko-fi.com/mynmnexperiment • Patreon: https://bit.ly/3hhfjl5 • SubscribeStar: https://bit.ly/3psYo23 • Renue by Science 10% Discount Code: MYNMN (https://renuebyscience.com/?rfsn=5692...) • Renue by Science 15% Subscription Service Discount Code: MYNMNSUB • ProHealth 15% Discount Code: MYNMN (https://www.prohealth.com/) • DoNotAge 10% Discount Code: MYNMN (https://bit.ly/2VBDgNt) • Youth Earth 15% Discount Code: MYNMN (https://youthandearth.com?sca_ref=3766764.knrWl4O3cB) • Please note that the links above are affiliate links, which means that if you use the code, I will receive a small commission, and if you do, may I say many thanks I advance for your support. • My Current Anti-Aging Protocol: • • 1.5 grams of an NADBooster (https://bit.ly/3c2Fxt8) • • 1.5 grams of Trans-resveratrol (Tue, Thu Sat) (https://bit.ly/3yxeqy2) • • 500mg Metformin • • 1.5 grams of TMG (https://bit.ly/3oe1Ted) • • 5,000 IU (International Units) of vitamin D3 (https://bit.ly/3P32hYH) • • 120 mcg (micrograms) of vitamin K2 (Mk 7) (https://bit.ly/3PhkBgn) • • 250mg Magnesium (L-Threonate) (https://bit.ly/3O4pZ5o) • • 200mg high molecular weight hyaluronic acid (https://bit.ly/3P0Z4c2) • • 2,400mg of Fisetin, on the 1st, 2nd 3rd of each month (https://bit.ly/3P2rSB0) • • 2,400mg of Quercetin, on the 1st, 2nd 3rd of each month (https://bit.ly/3IzulAy) • • Quercetin Fisetin Periodic Dosing (https://bit.ly/3mw1IgN) • • 81mg of aspirin (https://bit.ly/3uFjtem) • • 800mg SIRT6 Activator (https://bit.ly/3MyfA4J) • • 600mg DIM (https://bit.ly/3ZX9NsG) • • 800mg GlyNAC (https://shorturl.ac/7b75r) • Links: • https://www.nature.com/articles/s4139... • https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37718... • https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti... • https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32024... • https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33793... • https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35946... • https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34120... • https://www.nejm.org/doi/10.1056/NEJM... • https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17353... • https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26892... • https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28835... • https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33353... • https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33199... • https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33199... • https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27552... • https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti... • https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti... • https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti... https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti... • https://examine.com/supplements/apige... • https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti... • https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti... • https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti... • https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/... • https://selfhacked.com/blog/apigenin-... • Hypertension represents a major public health issue that is responsible for 8.5 million deaths due to stroke, coronary artery disease and renal disease worldwide. Endothelial dysfunction and arterial stiffness are considered hallmarks of hypertension, and they play a central role in the development of atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases. In hypertensive patients, alterations to NAD+ levels, and their relationship with blood pressure (BP) elevation, and vascular damage have not yet been studied. Combining human clinical trial research, cellular analysis, and mouse studies, researchers published, in the Journal Nature, that they have discovered a relationship between NAD+, hypertension, and the immune signal CD38. • This research begins with a discussion around NAD+ and its nature as a fundamental aspect of human metabolism. In particular, the authors home in on the immune factor CD38, which has been previously found to suppress NAD levels. Previous research has found that the NAD+ precursor nicotinamide riboside (NR) may have positive effects on arterial stiffness in people. However, these researchers decided to use a different precursor, that being nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), to determine if this particular NAD Booster would help in the treatment of hypertension. • First, the researchers examined 102 people, 52 of whom were healthy and 50 of whom were recently diagnosed with hypertension. • FAIR-USE COPYRIGHT DISCLAIMER • Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for fair use for purposes such as criticism, commenting, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
