Fog Machine Troubleshooting and Repair

The basic troubleshooting steps to determine the problem with your fog machine and tips about how to fix it. This is a Chauvet Hurricane F 1700 and the problem was a relay on the circuit board. • Special thanks to Chauvet. In addition to closing the relay for the pump when fluid level is sufficient, there may be a gravity switch as well - this would disable the pump if the machine is not sitting upright - for example if it is knocked over or mounted vertically the switch would disable the pump. I haven't confirmed this but it is certainly possible.
