Windham Airport is an older airport with a heavy general aviation crowd. I though about eating at the Airport Diner with takeout but decided just to do the flight. The flight path was over the state of Rhode Island and I was able to get good views of my childhood neighborhood in Lincoln, Rhode Island. It always feels like a homecoming of sorts when I fly over Providence, Rhode Island which is also a city that I used to gig in as a performing musician. All in all, the flight was enjoyable, a nice shorter cross country, and the weather was beautfiul.
