Frecce Tricolori • A.P. Property Services Rochester Airshow 2024 • Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester Int'l Airport (KROC) • Rochester, New York, United States of America, • Sunday, August 4th, 2024 • Hello everyone! Welcome to the A.P. Property Services Rochester Airshow of 2024! • Presenting the Frecce Tricolori, Italy's national flight aerobatic team coming all the way from Italy for their North America Tour 2024 to help celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force and to display Italian excellence all across Canada and the United States. For this airshow specifically, they were the headliners of the whole event so it was extra special for them. • The show started off with the team assembling in their ten Aermachhi MB-339PAN's to the west of the ramp and firing up to taxi for a RWY 22 departure. Due to the winds being a factor, the team departed individually before forming up and beginning the show from behind to the sound of the Italian anthem. The show was fantastic as always with traditional maneuvers such as 'the cardiod, heart, arizona and tricolor spark' to name a few were performed as well as the spectacular 'Alona pass' with the largest Italian flag in the sky. • After the last pass, the team broke for a landing on RWY 4 and taxied back to their parking area. Afterwards, the pilots came by to the Aeronautica Militare tent to sign some autographs and meet the public. • As this was my last time seeing Frecce Tricolori on this North America Tour I want to say a special grazie and arrivederci to this fantastic aerobatic team I had the privilege of witnessing and filming four times.
