The idea is obviously inspired from the Fort of Bruinen sequence from the Lord of the rings. • In the movie the lighting is very cloudy and moody but as I was trying around I found that I like a beam of morning sunlight interacting with the water much more. • I did not try to match the movie version but rather wanted to test if I can achieve a similar effect using the @FLIPFluids addon for Blender. • You can see in the breakdown that I tried many ways to come closer to the result I wanted to see. In the end, it was a combination of force fields and inflows.
