A float valve, button dripper device drip irrigates plants growing in soil. Irrigation flow rate is increased when a higher-flow button dripper is employed and when pressure is increased by elevating the float valve. Irrigation flow rate is decreased when pressure is reduced by elevating the button dripper, but not the float valve or when a second button dripper is connected to the original dripper.
