Dirk returned to Z Car Garage for more sorting and upgrades. A new 3.0L Rebello L-series engine with triple-Mikuni ph44 carbs was mated to the freshened Silvia 6-speed transmission. Suspension upgrades included new Koni Race shocks from T3 and optimized geometry with bumpsteer elimination. Rob dyno tuned the 3L making 265hp/231tq at the wheels.
