GTI Cold Air Intake Sounds like silence VW Mods

Here are some GTI compatible intakes: https://amzn.to/2XLmYQY • My 2012 Mark 6 Volkswagen GTI has a NueSpeed Cold Air Intake system on it with a K N Air Filter. It helps deliver more air for the turbocharged 2.0 liter which I have tuned to Stage 1+ using a Cobb Accessport. However, unlike on my Mini Cooper S which had the CravenSpeed Intake kit, the new intake mod here didn't add any sound in the cabin. The seat of the pants butt dyno doesn't feel any difference. To help compensate for that I placed a microphone under the hood right next to the intake cone so you can hear the turbo blow off and whooshing sounds in full effect! With the hood up, the intake sounds great, and maybe if you remove the sound dampening material you'll get to hear it in the cabin.
