What makes a good story great? Join me in diving into the amazing new animated series, Arcane, based on the League of Legends Games. This video essay review of Arcane focuses on the how the series uses visual storytelling through act 1, act 2 and act 3, telling the story of Jinx, Vi, Silco, Caitlyn, Ekko and a large cast of characters over the course of several years through many episodes. I analyse and theorise some of the key moments in the series, including it's use of foreshadowing and metaphor.
