Details below... • Patreon: / michaelbullo • Activating Overprint • By default, an object within an InDesign document will knock out (cut out), any objects that it overlaps. To have an object print over the objects below it, activate the Overprint Fill and/or Overprint Stroke options within the Attributes panel. • Window - Output - Attributes • • Overprint Preview • Objects set to overprint will blend with those below them. However, such blending is not previewed within InDesign by default. To turn this preview on... • View - Overprint Preview • • Previewing Channels • Within the Separations Preview panel, change View to Separations . Clicking on the entries for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black will have them display on the page in greyscale.
