I wanted to start out by apologizing about the voice over not being perfect volume... It was late at night and everyone in the house was sleeping.. just thought Id apologize now because I know someone will comment about it. (also I need to update this/fix it..I tried to correct copy right things with the audio and it took away my voice over...correction coming soon, I apologize friends) • - • - • Whats up friends, my dad and I built a custom drawer system for the bed of my 2013 Toyota Tacoma. • - • - • After doing a lot of searches on here, not many trucks that have the drawer system that is also is exposed to the elements so we decided to do things that would work best with my set up. By the way I did not make this straight across the bed of my truck for a reason. I have a dog that travels in the bed of the truck most of the time as well as sleeps in the bed of the truck while we are camping, so I wanted that space for her and other things. I simply love the face that this type of project is completely customizable to YOUR needs and WANTS! • - • - • Here is a link to the plastic sheet that we cut down to have the drawer slide on, but everything else was purchased at home depot... • HDPE Plastic Sheet: • https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0070Z8QD6?... • - • - • 2 boards of plywood, lots of brad nails, some wood screws, 2 handles, 1 door stopper, roll of rubber foam weather stripping... and a few other odds ins if you want more specific please put a comment below... I think everyones buy list will be different depending on the style of box you decide to make as well as the size of the box/drawer(s). • - • - • I hope that you enjoy this video and get some use out of it when building your own drawer system for your rig! This has made it much easier to store things that we use for cooking. So this is basically used as our kitchen with stored trash bags, a bowl/soap and sponge to clean the dishes, plates and bowls, cutlery, silverware, pots, cutting boards, supplements, seasonings, spices, oil and food that doesn't need to be in the cooler. This way we don't have to set up a big table or have bags full of food randomly in the truck. It makes it much easier for set up and break down time as well as being able to just prep food faster. (say if we get into a location late at night or are quick to leave in the morning or just stopping on the side of the road to make a quick sammy). • - • - • Don't forget to keep spreading love :)
