During my visit to our friends ‪@AudioAdvice‬ , they had a brand new Denon AVR-A1H receiver with the top removed and I just couldn't resist shooting a video with my friend Nick Rich. This new 70lbs 15-channel AVR-A1H ($6,499) bad boy is the brand’s first to incorporate Dirac Live. The AVR-A1H is rated at 150wpc x 15CH into 8 ohms and is capable of delivering 105wpc x 9CH driven thanks to its massive heatsinks, large 25lbs power supply and 33,000uF x 2 capacitor bank. The AVR-A1H has 4 independent subwoofer outputs and advanced bass redirection features. We give some insights into the build quality, power supply and power capability, and about the advanced bass management features from what we discovered at our recent trip to Denon's headquarters. we also discuss it's advanced HDMI platform making it the ideal AVR for serious gamers.
