Smothered Chicken and Rice

⬇️ Recipe below ⬇️ • I am not a Chef just a Home Cook. I make simple and easy recipes. • I grew up on garden food and southern home cooking. I will be sharing some recipes that my Momma made and other family recipes and things I made for my family when my kids were growing up. I also look for new things to make online or recipe books and will make it and give it a try. • Smothered Chicken and Rice Recipe: • Ingredients: • 2 lbs Chicken breast • 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup • 1 1/4 cup milk • salt and pepper to taste • 1/2 tsp garlic powder - sprinkle over chicken • 2 cups cooked rice • Directions: • Preheat oven at 350 degrees. • Precook rice. • Mix cream of soup and milk together well. • In a baking dish around 9 to 11 inches add rice then chicken on top and seasonings and pour soup milk mixture all over chicken and rice. • Cook uncovered 45 to 50 minutes or until chicken is done and reaching 165 degrees F on meat thermometer. • If you have a YouTube channel and make any of my recipes especially those I say are Family Recipes I ask you to tell where you got the recipe from and not pass it off as your own.
