Destiny 2 is a free to play first person looter shooter , developed and published by Bungie, the creators of the OG Halo Trilogy (Halo CE, 2 3) along with two spin offs (ODST Reach), as a sequel to the original Destiny (2014) in 2017. Players are put into the boots of a Guardian, one of the many paracausal defenders of the Last City, wielding both impressive weaponry and powers of Light and Darkness to combat threats to humanity. There are three classes to choose from - Titan, Hunter and Warlock, and 6 subclasses - Solar, Arc, Void, Stasis, Strand Prismatic (introduced in Final Shape). • Positives- • 1) Satisfying Gameplay Loop. • 2) Appealing Visuals. • 3) Superb Animations and Sound Design. • 4) Plenty of activities to play Solo or with friends. • 5) An Intriguing World to Discover and Explore. • Negatives- • 1) Too Grindy. • 2) Addictive. • 3) FoMO (Fear of Missing Out). • 4) Expensive AF Expansions/DLCs. • 5) Greedy Monetization/Microtransactions. • 6) Repetitive PvE activities. • 7) Crucible is a mess (error codes, cheaters and PvP sweats). • 8) Gambit lacks content. • 9) Unoptimized • Is Destiny 2 Worth It? • Maybe, but play at your own risk. • I'm a Destiny 2 Veteran (of sorts) so I thought I'd make one last Destiny 2 video before uninstalling it for good.
