This video, which is 59:20 in length, shows a full lesson with a 24 year-old soubrette soprano, Maggie. We have worked together for three years. We do a thorough vocalizing session based around skills needed for the repertoire for the day, Prendi, per me, sei libero, from Donizetti's opera L'elisir d'amore. This lesson was recorded in my home in the San Antonio, Texas metro area at 9:30 in the morning on November 2, 2022, following the final dress rehearsal of I Pagliacci, in which Maggie sings in the chorus. Maggie has bachelor's and master's degrees in music performance.
