I adore Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away, so here's part three of the world's most indepth analysis on the film. In this video essay, I explore every moment of Studio Ghibli's masterpiece in chronological o rder. This episode focuses on the sequence that takes Sen through to the pig pens and into the garden with Haku, where she finally cries, and then the sequence where she helps clean up the stink/river spirit. This one feels a little more either simplistic or refined than the last two videos, I reckon. I suppose the garden scene with Haku is quite simple and that's part of why it's so incredibly powerful. • My Little Thought Tree is my channel for drawing out the deeper meaning and emotion in film, TV, and the world at large through relaxed, analytical video essays.
