Presented by: • SMJK Chung Ling P.P, B07 The Boys' Brigade Wind Bagpipe Band in collaboration with Beyond The Octave, Singapore. • The history of bagpipes in 8th Penang Company did not begin recently. With the purchase of 4 Pakistan made Bagpipes, there were few unsuccessful attempts to form a Bagpipe Band in EPCOM but it was only until last year that an actual pipe band was formed. Thanks be to God for timely support of our donors, and instructors from Beyond the Octave, we were able to herald the arrival of a new chapter in the history of EPCOM Band. • In fact, today, June 8 marks exactly a year when we first started to be trained under WeyShi Ong from Beyond The Octave, Singapore. Now, we have the instruments, instructors and players. It is time to deliver the result and bring glory to HIS name.
