Spicy Ramen Carbonara

Jazz up your spicy ramen in less then 15 minutes! • • STEP 1: Crisp up (2) slices of bacon and crumble into small pieces and set aside. • • STEP 2: In a separate bowl, add (2) egg yolks and (1) whole egg. Both should be at room temperature preferably. • • STEP 3: In the same bowl, grate (1) clove of garlic (YES - I know that you don't add garlic in a proper/authentic Carbonara but this is just something that I like to do). • • STEP 4: To that same bowl, add 1 cups of freshly grated parmesan cheese and some freshly cracked black pepper. Give it a quick mix just until everything is incorporated. • • STEP 5: Take (1) bag of spicy Korean ramen of your choice and cook according to the instructions BUT cook for 1 minute or so less than what it recommends because we're going to continue cooking it afterwards. For example, the instructions on my package said 5 minutes but I cooked mine for 3-1/2 minutes. • • STEP 6: Once the noodles are cooked I drained out the water leaving only 1/3 cup of the water. Add 1/2 cup of the dry seasoning packet and 1/2 of the spicy sauce packet. Give it a few stirs then take it off of the heat. • • STEP 7: Slowly pour in the egg mixture while stirring at the same time so that you don't get scrambled eggs. • • STEP 8: Plate it up and add more freshly shaved parmesan and pepper if you'd like and there you have it!
