Datsun 280z Brake Booster Replacement and Master Cylinder

The last piece of the braking system left to be addressed on the Datsun 280z is the brake booster. Luckily, remanufactured boosters are still available though pricey. You can save a little money and rebuild it yourself or even send your booster off to have it rebuilt. Considering how mine looked, I felt it best to get a new booster altogether. Removing the booster takes a lot of patience and dexterity to reach the fasteners under the dash and I ran into a few snags on the install of the new booster. Keep in mind the 240z uses a 7 booster from the factory. The later 260z and 280z use a 8 1/2 vacuum booster. • If you found this video helpful smash that like button!
