With the price difference actually not being all that much cheaper than Aeromexico on the same route I was definitely much less impressed with Volaris it has to be said. It was a basic budget airline interior really. No IFE, no wifi, poor legroom no seat power. The service was minimal and anything you wanted did need to be purchased. Which to be honest, I was expecting as Volaris is a low cost carrier, but with Aeromexico prices the same, you’d be silly not to choose the flag carrier as you get wifi, IFE complimentary drink snack with them. • However out of the window some beautiful views along the route, particularly on descent and approach over the surrounding areas of Mexico City and passing through the cloud base, with quite a bit of turbulence before making our way onto the approach for RWY23L. Passing over the plane graveyard. You can see several old aircraft below, just as we cross the perimeter of the airport at MEX.
