I had dated a man who told me I was too overweight to marry and Jake had been married and divorced. It's not something he wanted for his life, he wanted to make it work, go to counseling and get back into church. But he couldn't make her stay. He was so broken and empty after. He had decided that he would never get married again. He had gotten to a place where he decided that he just needed Jesus and if that's all he ever had, that would be enough.
