I compared intonation between using compensated saddle and uncompensated saddle or straight saddle on Guild D4 acoustic guitar. I showed tuning for both at open strings, 12th fret and 5th fret. • In my opinion, based on the Pitchlab App readings, the compensated saddle gives more accurate intonation on this guitar even though the stock saddle was straight type. • Subscribe Edwin-E Channel for more similar videos: https://bit.ly/2SkiWKE • If you enjoy this video, I would appreciate if you can buy me a coffee to boost my energy. https://www.buymeacoffee.com/edwine • Gears used: • Guitar: Guild D4 HR True American acoustic guitar • Microphone1: Audio Technica AT2020 - https://amzn.to/2VYyp4Y • Camera: Zoom Q8 Videocamera - https://amzn.to/2FWATcF • Visit my Amazon page to see products I used on this channel: https://www.amazon.com/shop/edwin-e • For UK Viewers: • https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/edwin-e • For Canada Viewers: https://amzn.to/2Gk0CiW • Social Media • / edwineguitar • / edwineguitar • / edwineguitar • • Website: • https://edwineguitar.blogspot.com • DISCLOSURE/DISCLAIMER: This video and description contains affiliate links and ads, that if you click on the product links, I may receive a small commission from 3rd party site.
