In 1954 the Milan High School basketball team won the Indiana state championship. The movie Hoosiers is about that small, undersized high school team that won that now famous state championship. That now classic David versus Goliath narrative is a touch stone in American culture. The movie's fictional Hickory High School is similar to Milan High School, which was a small school in a rural Indiana town. I am a Hoosier, born in Danville Indiana so when I had a chance to do something truly BIG in my home state, you better believe I jumped at the chance. I worked alongside several people who appeared in the movie, including the coaches in the lead in reel in this video!
