The KING of all Bread Puddings... • King Cake Bread Pudding • 1 King Cake • 4 Cups Heavy Cream • 3 Eggs • 1 Cup Sugar • 1 Bag White Chocolate Morsels • 1/4 Cup Melted Butter • 1 TSP Vanilla Extract • Directions: • 1. Prepare pellet grill for indirect cooking at 350 degrees. • 2. Grease a 9x11” baking dish with butter. • 3. Cut king cake into small pieces and place in a large mixing bowl. Pour heavy cream over cake and soak for 30 minutes • 4. Combine eggs, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla in a separate bowl. Add white chocolate morsels and stir to combine. Pour egg mixture over soaked king cake and stir to combine • 5. Pour mixture into baking dish and place on smoker for 1 hour or until top has browned and bread pudding has set. • 6. Remove from smoker and drizzle with White Chocolate Rum Sauce (recipe below) • 7. Garnish with colored sugars. • White Chocolate Rum Sauce • 1 Cup Heavy Cream • 2 TBSP Butter • 1 Package White Chocolate Morsels • 1oz Dark Rum • Directions: • 1. Melt butter in small pot over medium heat. Add heavy cream and rum bring to slight simmer. • 2. Slowly add white chocolate morsels while stirring.
