Self-driving and wild camping across the Bolivian Altiplano. • Bolivia Photography Tour (genres - landscape/astrophotography/travel): • https://www.ollietaylorphotography.co... • Just a quick video for fun as I never obtained enough clips to make a decent video, plus lost my gimble, and winter down jacket along with a load of other gear somewhere after landing in Sucre. • This meant shopping in Sucre for new winter gear, was not easy, and quality was way below par for the temperatures faced, probably the worst down jacket I've ever ended up with. • The video mainly features my trusty 4x4 called Lunar which drove 8 hours from Sucre to through Posesi to Uyuni, all around the Salar, then to Tupiza, before coming back past Uyuni and heading to Laguna Verde; there are no fuel stations in the high Altiplano, so fuel was siphoned from a large container strapped into the back. • The main goal was to go deep into the Altiplano and down towards Tupiza and scope out nightscape locations never been photographed at night before, alongside spending days driving over the incredible Salar de Uyuni alongside camping on the salt flat. • Traveling with someone also rendered night timelapse useless due to constant torch light. However, this video shows what it is like to travel across the sunny Altiplano and Uyuni in the winter, 20 degrees in the day, dropping to -20 degrees some nights, especially within the high Altiplano and the Altiplanic lagoons. • There is a mix of drone footage taken with a Mavic Mini 2, timelapse shot on a Sony A7iii, hand-held phone footage whilst driving, and still images from a Sony A7iii and a Sony A7iii astro modified. • Winter sleeping bags were used on ground mats alongside multiple blankets bought from local markets to camp alongside a mix of hostels and some salt hotels. • Insta: / olliemtaylor • FB: https://www.facebook.com/ • Licensed music track by: Sam Barsh
