What is menstruation? What changes in a young girl's life when it first arrives? • This film represents a fresh view of a taboo impacting the world of girls (and boys) to a larger extent than it may first seem. With humor and sensitivity it discloses misbeliefs, prejudices and rules of the menstrual etiquette that still persist not only in the remote parts of the world but also in our modern society. • This movie is a spin-off of our successfull feature lenght documentary film The Moon Inside You (IMDb 7.9). • While working on the movie and later when talking to the audience we met many girls with negative attidute towards their upcoming menstruation. We were surprised that for many of them, the only thing they knew about menstration was that it hurts and it's something to hide. Something to be ashamed of. • We are creating a movie these girls could relate to. Movie that makes them feel proud to be women.
