Viewer discretion is advised. • • A walkthrough of Pine Creek, the brand new murder mystery game for the GameBoy Color, made in 2021. This video shows all of my gameplay with commentary of how I completed the full game from start to finish. • I will guide you through this humour and tone of this new release for the GBC, that boasts fairly off the wall humour alongside a genuinely dark storyline. The premise can be seen in the promotional art; in a sleepy village a child goes missing, the only clue being a pentacle of blood, within which sits a severed finger. It's gripping stuff and trust me once you get into the story you won't be able to stop until the mystery is solved. • I am playing this game on an emulator thanks to the good people at Incube8 Games and Carmelo Electronics. As per the game's warning I will not share this, instead if you're interested in the game then you need to check out their website: https://incube8games.com/ • Pine Creek is part of a retro game revival where companies have started to produce physical copies of new games for older hardware. Pine Creek exists as a cartridge that works on an original GameBoy Color! (Or GBA or any other such device that can play GBC games). Personally I think this is so cool and I might nerd out about it a bit at the start the video, but I'm a sucker for retro games so it's amazing to see there are people out there keeping the medium alive. • A pseudo mini review can be found at the end of the final part but make no mistake this is a murder mystery game; if it interests you then you need to stop watching otherwise you'll spoil the game for yourself. • ----------------------- • On this channel I make a variety of gaming content.
