A playthrough of Sega's 1993 children's show adaptation for the Sega Genesis, Barney's Hide and Seek. • This is quite the odd title, but I suppose that it was a fitting segue toward Sega's super kid friendly Genesis based storybook console, the Sega Pico. While it's hard to derive a lot of value out of this as an adult, I remember a few friends when I was a kid that had younger siblings that were completely enamored with this. If anything, despite the apparent laryngitis, there is quite an impressive amount of speech that the cartridge holds, and it pastes the words together quite well to form sentences. It's creepy, but then, so was the television version of Barney to begin with. I always hated it - in fourth or fifth grade I remember all sorts of colorful, off-color songs being sung to the tune of the theme song during lunch. Still, if the game's only purpose was to pander to children aged 3-7 between the years 1993-1995, it hit its target pretty damn well. To anyone else, it'll probably be nothing but an obnoxious relic of 1990s television that is probably better left forgotten. • It's good for a laugh after a couple drinks, though! • ____________ • No cheats were used during the recording of this video. • NintendoComplete (http://www.nintendocomplete.com/) punches you in the face with in-depth reviews, screenshot archives, and music from classic 8-bit NES games! • Visit for the latest updates! • / 540091756006560 • / nes_complete
