Star fruits are pretty awesome and can be found natively in places like Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. They can, of course, be planted and grown successfully elsewhere. Fun fact, Star Fruit trees can be grown here in Arizona. There are a few nurseries that specialize in tropical plants that sell them. As long as you take care of them they will thrive here.
