The day began with a trip back to St. John to get the combine. • And then the real work began. All pieces of the puzzle had to be put back together again before we could make our way to the field. • Working directly in the sun (plus the past days of constant packing and details) sorta wore on us. (Maybe it’s old age?) • Eventually, though, we did make it to the field and went right to work. • The moisture was 9.5%. PLENTY dry! • The test weight was 62.8 lbs. AWESOME! • There’s no end in sight of a cool down. This only means no rain.
