Cecil Hotel is an infamous budget hotel known for a checkered past that includes murders and suicides. The 19-floor, 700 guest room hotel has seen at least 16 unexplained deaths at its establishment. • Cecil Hotel was built in 1924 and recorded its first death in January of 1927; Percy Ormond Cook took his own life by shooting himself in the head.
