Mutsuhiro Watanabe, alias the Bird, was one the most aggressively hunted War Criminals in post-WWII Japan. Former POW Louis Zamperini joined the hunt but he did not want revenge. • Rather, Zamperini sought to confront and ultimately forgive his torturer in the hopes of moving past his traumatic experiences.
