Narine Poladian is an incredibly talented young Lebanese Armenian woman who migrated to Armenia and became a khachkar (cross stone) artist, despite being a traditionally male occupation and the physical demands of this ancient craft. • She is an inspiration to the diaspora in terms of the positive message of what can be achieved in the Homeland, and to motivate girls to achieve their goals, no matter what they are, especially when it comes to supporting precious Armenian cultural heritage. • Narine demonstrates the amazing craft of stone sculpture while creating the 'Khachkar of All Armenians (Համայն հայության խաչքար)' for the Areni Open Air Cultural Museum. • She will formally introduce this video presentation at the international Armenian Defence and Cultural Heritage Fundraiser, 19 February 2022, 14:00 - 17:00 Sydney time (https://arenilodge.com).
