It was a friday night treat after school, that you would normally have with chips and beans. I looked forward to these, and my favourite was the chicken, bacon and sweetcorn one. • For those of you not in the know, essentially the crispy pancake was a pancake with a filling added to one half, then folded over. It was then coated in bright orange breadcrumbs and fried until golden brown. There were a number of different fillings, and every kid had there favourite. You can switch up the fillings to whatever you like really, but for this recipe I wanted to be as close to the original as possible. • To make my findus crispy pancake copycat recipe you will need: • ►4 chicken thighs • ►3 rashers of smoked bacon • ►4-6 pancakes (recipe linked in the video) • ►1 bay leaf • ►200ml of chicken stock • ►About 100ml of milk • ►2 tbsp of plain all purpose flour • ►100g of drained sweetcorn • ►Fresh white breadcrumbs (or those luminous pre made ones) • ►1 tsp of turmeric • ►Plain flour • ►3 beaten eggs • ►Salt pepper • ►Oil for cooking • ►Knob of butter • Follow me here: • Facebook - adamseatschannel • Twitter - @adamseats • Instagram - adamseats • Pinterest - adamseatsyt • Music by - Dyalla Swain / dyallas
