SKR V14 Mainboard Upgrade amp Installation

This video we upgrade to the SKR V1.4 Mainboard and install it into our X301 printer. We are replacing an SKR v1.3 motherboard. We cover how to set up the SKR v1.4 for UART mode and install it into our printer. We are using the TMC2208 drivers from our pervious SKR v1.3 board. Some Marlin changes are also required when upgrading to the SKR V1.4 which we also cover. I also setup the probe pin specifically for my bed leveling probe. I also ran a PID Autotune because the SKR v1.4 seems to have a slightly different mosfet. I did not cover the PID Autotune as part of this video because I discovered this after filming. So you may need to run a PID Autotune if you run into thermal runaway issues on your extruder with the BigTreeTech SKR V1.4 mainboard upgrade. • Please note that if youre using a TMC2209 there are some instructions that require you to clip a pin off if you're not using stallguard on the TMC2209's.
