At the hunt site, we cut off the front back legs, the back-straps. Put the meat in calico cloth-bags drove home. At home, I hung the calico meat-bags in my shed. Then 2 days later, I removed the skin from the legs, butchered the meat into portions - most of which I put into vacuum-seal bags which I sealed using my HENKELMAN JUMBO-35 vacuum-packaging machine. • The video of me skinning the deer legs, butchering the meat into portions for freezing is here • First time! skin butcher deer meat ... . • In this video, I clean the 2 rifles used on the deer hunt trip. It was drizzling slightly that day, only one of the rifles fired a round that killed the Sambar deer. Both rifles are HOWA 1500 308-calibre Barrelled Action stainless-steel SPORTERS. My rifle is mounted in a KRG BRAVO chassis with a ZEISS VICTORY V8 1.8-14x50 riflescope.
