#BONNET #HOOD • Step 1) Locate Bonnet / Hood Release Lever inside RIGHT HAND SIDE door-well • Step 2) Pull Door-Well SAFETY Lever to Release Bonnet / Hood to First Click (Enough to get your fingers underneath) • Step 3) Move to the Front of the car • Step 4) Locate the Under Bonnet/Hood Release Lever which is in the GAP above and slightly to the of the the KIA BADGE • Step 5) Push Lever to the Centre and Lift Bonnet / Hood simultaneously • To Close • 1) CHECK you have replaced any Caps securely left no TOOLS lying around! • 2) Lower the hood to about 30 cm (12 inches) height and then let it drop to properly lock in place. • 3) Make sure the hood is properly closed before driving. • 4) Double Check Firmly Closed (check by gently pressing down and trying to lift up there should be no movement • • Locate Hood/Bonnet Release Latch • Locate Under Hood/Bonnet Lever • • Drop from 9 inches / 20 CM • • Always Double Check Firmly Closed • Winter Charge Flat Battery.
