Furofushi Onsen is a seaside hot spring, located in the town of Fukaura, Aomori Prefecture. Its name, Furofushi, can be translated as “if I use this hot spring, I would never age or die”. This onsen has received great amounts of media attention and is a popular tourist spot. • There is a mixed bath and a female-only bath to accommodate female guests not comfortable with mixed baths. The seashore outdoor bath offers a majestic view and feeling of becoming one with the beach. Looking out to the horizon and listening to the ocean waves never fails to be a relaxing experience.
