It might be because of how you’re removing your facial hair. • Plucking may be quick and easy but the pulling of the hair in this manner could cause inflammation that can lead to hyperpigmentation. • After 30 as our hormones change, facial hair can be a common thing for us. Lawd, I remember wondering why the aunties would be out with staches and chin hairs ALL OUT when I was a kid. E... • Now let me stress again as I always do, any pro treatments (laser, electrolysis, etc) should be done with someone WELL VETTED who has RECEIPTS that they know what they’re doing with skin of color. Burning is not supposed to happen when you get laser hair removal. • With laser you need two VERY important things: 1. The RIGHT laser (typically nd Yag) and 2. the RIGHT PERSON using that laser. If you’re missing one, it can lead to an unfavorable outcome. • You can also try a depillatory cream—BUT make sure it’s the ones for the face.
