When you lock the Nest Thermostat you can prevent unauthorized use and either set a range of temperatures that can be used for the thermostat or you can set the thermostat to maintain one temperature. • It's a great option for Nest Thermostats that are located in a public space like an office, or retail building and can prevent tampering with the nest. • To lock the Nest Thermostat you go to the settings menu and scroll over to Lock click on the lock icon and you can then create a 4 digit code. Then click enter. • Once the code is created you can either choose a temperature range or a specific temperature that you would like the Nest Thermostat To Hold.
