Nobody walks planning to trip or fall over. It’s something that occurs without our foresight and we don’t intend for it to happen and neither do we want it to happen. However, it happens. • The Bible describes our relationship with God as a walk in 1 John 1:7 and says “7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” • It acknowledges that there will be times where we sin and for such a person who predominantly walks in the light, the blood of Jesus cleanses His sin. However, a verse from that same chapter also says “If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.”. • Therefore, it is not possible to claim to have a relationship with God while walking in darkness. That is your own god you have made up and you are living a lie if that is the case. • That is not the will of God, He wants you to live in truth. So with no condemnation, I say just repent and God will forgive you and going forward, no longer walk in premeditated sin.
