The Omkareshwara temple, located in the village of Mudigere near Hassan district of Karnataka. The village is situated on the highway of Hassan-Tiptur. • The Construction of the temple was began in 2004 and it took 10 years to complete the construction. It was a dream of Sri G K Ananthram and his wife Smt G A Jayalakshmi. Their tireless efforts over a span of 10 years despite multiple challenges have resulted in a very beautiful temple complex at this village. The temple complex consists of Shiva temple as Omkareshwara along with his son Lord Ganesha temple. The complex also consists of Navagraha temples and Saptamatrikas temples. The temple has been constructed with beautiful pictures and murals from our ancient stories.
