Engine repair on Caterpillar C18 and trip to Fort Pierce

Install of a new 14 silicone exhaust boot on a Horiszon motoryacht in Saint Augustine florida. I left Charleston SC on Sunday after Capt. Marleys birthday party. I got to the yacht by 5:30 and got right to work in the engine room. It took about a day to get everything fixed and by Tusday at 11:00am we were off to Datona Beach. from there on to Titiusville were I ran into Lyn from ‪@tryingnottosink9107‬ From there we left at O dark thirty and headed to fort Pierce. Everything in the engine room and motors ran well. However the silicone exhaust boot was running very hot on the port side as expected. I dont thing the mixing elbow is desinged or working propelry and that is the casue of the blow out.
