A very large variety in the color of leaves and inflorescences. This species has flowering and non-flowering varieties). • ✅ giant miscanthus • (pure species rarely blooms in Poland, there are varieties that bloom every year, eg 'Meidl'. It grows up to 3-4m depending on the variety. Decorative grass is completely safe without rhizomes. However, it has a wide base, which can be up to 2m wide). • 🟡 Expansive miscanthus are: • 🔸 sugar miscanthus • (It is characterized by overhanging shoots and often resembles Miscanthus giganteus. It blooms every year. Moreover, it loses color quickly in autumn). • 🔸 miscanthus lutarioriparius • (probably the tallest miscanthus in Poland. It can grow up to 6m in height during the year. It is cut to zero each spring.
