Whitepine, episode 3, was much anticipated, and it didn't disappoint; I just wish it were longer. • So here's Pin Oak. I really like this song, but I gotta say, the ending gave me hell. I mean, seriously, I'm blown away by the creativity of Ivory's music. Trying to learn something so unrestricted by time signature by ear was nearly impossible for my little intermediate ears. So I'm a bit ashamed to say, but I couldn't figure out exactly how to transcribe that; as a solution, I recreated the ending as best as I could with what little I COULD hear or guess. • I'm confident in the rest of the song, however. One small thing you may want to change for yourself: In measure 127 I believe, I jotted down a triplet as two 16th notes and a quarter. I think it would actually be more reasonable to have written those two 16ths as an appoggiatura, but I couldn't get the application to make that sound proper, so I forced this improper spelling. Also, there were some parts where I accidentally overlapped the hands. These issues should be fixed in the sheet music link, however, the video will still display the old version, so check out the PDF for the most accurate one. • I hope you enjoy this cover. I'll be working on the next song soon, and I'm thinking of uploading something else sometime soon as well. I'll let fate decide.
